Official Press Release. “As the bar turning sector has done for several decades, the Simodec 2022 trade fair in La Roche sur Foron, Haute-Savoie, has resolutely oriented its positioning towards precision mechanical manufacturing. Suppliers in this sector appreciate this strategy of the organiser ROCHEXPO, and are showing it. Already, the world’s leading manufacturers of machine tools dedicated to precision machining, as well as all the manufacturers of Swiss type single- and multi-spindle lathes for bar turning are registered for this fair, or are in the process of registering. Manufacturers and integrators of bar feeders, robots and machine peripherals, tool and die manufacturers, software publishers and many suppliers of the environment and services required by this sector are also present. More than 60% of the exhibition space is already booked.<\/p>\n

Workshops, Trends, and Mobile Application<\/strong><\/p>\n

In addition, the fair\u2019s partners are working hard to organise conferences and debates at the heart of the exhibition. In the dedicated areas in the centre of the two main halls, the questions of training, employment, the evolution of professions, women in the industry, industry 4.0 and current industrial changes will be answered.<\/p>\n

The organisers are also working on setting up technological animations with the exhibitors. Thanks to the trade fair’s mobile application, they should draw attention to innovation in these means of production for the automotive, aeronautics,\u00a0medical, watchmaking, luxury, energy and leisure sector.\u00a0The Simodec trophies will highlight the best of them. At the same time, Rochexpo’s architects are already designing the layout of the stands. They want to offer visitors new perspectives for visiting the exhibition. The pillarless 7,000 m2 of space in the new hall, worthy of the forests and mountains that surround it, will make a major contribution to this effort.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section>

Ideally scheduled at the beginning of the year, the organisers of this manageably-sized trade fair will offer a complete and focused showcase for investors in precision mechanical manufacturing and bar turning. From southern Germany, to the Bourgogne-Franche-Comt\u00e9 and Auvergne Rh\u00f4ne-Alpes regions, via northern Italy and its close neighbour Switzerland, just 20 minutes from Geneva, La Roche sur Foron is located at the centre of Europe’s precision mechanics\u2019 sector.”<\/p>\n

These include Journal Suisse d'Horlogerie (2008-2014), Heure Suisse\/Schweiz and Ann\u00e9e Horlog\u00e8re, F\/D\/E (2011-2014), Watchonista.com (2013-2019). In 2019, he founded and chaired \"JSH Archives & Patrimoine\" to relaunch the Swiss watchmaking journal JSH. Then in 2021, he built on his very first editorial venture, the \"bloghorloger.ch\" established on the web in 2003, to come back online with the Swiss Watch Passport\u00ae (by JSH\u00ae). Jo\u00ebl A.
