Swiss Haute Horlogerie manufacturer Audemars Piguet officially inaugurated its first\u00a0 AP House in Switzerland on September 15 in the prestigious setting of Zurich\u2019s Leuenhof. This iconic cultural landmark, dear to local inhabitants, welcomed the brand\u2019s guests for a unique experiential event.<\/strong><\/p>\n

A Unique experience in tribute to the City of Zurich<\/strong><\/p>\n

Guests were welcomed at the heart of the Leuenhof\u2019s old cashier hall, where the first AP House in Switzerland \u2013 and one of the largest in the world with its surface of 700 square metres \u2013 has been located since February 2022. The live performance of Zurich-based composer and producer OZ, who created a dedicated soundtrack for the AP House, counted amongst the highlights of the evening. The music artist was accompanied for the occasion by Afro Pop singer songwriter TRESOR who lent his lyrics and voice to OZ\u2019s music. This unprecedented collaboration reinforces the synergies between Audemars Piguet and the music world, while paying a vibrant tribute to the city of Zurich.<\/p>\n

After the welcome speech of David Pantillon, Audemars Piguet\u2019s Country General Manager Switzerland, guests were surprised with a show, whose beauty and complexity echoed the unique architecture of this local landmark.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section>

The night concluded with the live presentation of \u201cShowstopper,\u201d the bespoke soundtrack created by Zurich-based composer and producer OZ for the Zurich AP House. The self-taught artist was accompanied by Congolese Afro-pop singer Tresor,who lent his lyrics and voice to OZ\u2019s music. The duo made the night with this collaborative piece \u2013 a first for Audemars Piguet, whose family\u00a0 values, strong sense of rootedness in Switzerland and openness to the world echo the way OZ considers both his collaborations and his artistic work.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section>

\u201cShowstopper\u201d will be available on 23 September on both artists various channels, including Spotify, Deezer and Apple Music.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section>

We were impressed and touched by the atmosphere of this soir\u00e9e, as the local guests lived up to their festive reputation and warmly welcomed this new space. It is also an honour for both Audemars Piguet and the AP House to welcome a local artist with such an international outreach. We are proud of this collaboration which represents a first for an AP House and reinforces the synergies between Audemars Piguet and the music world.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
