Instigated by freelance journalist Jo\u00ebl A. Grandjean, the WatCH Caf\u00e9 is a ‘think tank’ of watchmaking professionals. For the first time, this monthly event is moving to the exhibition area.<\/strong><\/p>\n

On the last Wednesday of July 2017, during the 3rd edition of the Watch Caf\u00e9 at the Maison de l'Horlogerie in Geneva: from right to left master watchmaker Jean-Marc Wiederrecht (Agenhor), journalist Nicolas Ross\u00e9 (RTS), Alain Guttly, owner of the Maison de l'Horlogerie and freelance journalist Jo\u00ebl A. Grandjean, initiator<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section>

Thanks to brothers Alain and Olivier Guttly, founders of the Geneva Maison de l’Horlogerie \u00e0 Gen\u00e8ve<\/a>, this event was born almost 6 years ago. Once a month, on the last Wednesday between 07:50 and 10:10, a representative few from the watchmaking world gather around media representatives and prestigious figures. Leading watchmakers, suppliers, world experts, trendsetters, students, politicians, independent and group CEOs all meet up. In a simple, informal atmosphere, attendees mingle, exchanging ideas, points of view and often… inside scoops. Recurrence and authenticity are the best attributes for passion..<\/p>\n

A few months ago, after having hosted a few press conferences and shootings for Swiss national television RTS, the ‘think tank’ was launched for the first time in Neuch\u00e2tel, thanks to Patrick Goussard of Coutellerie des Halles<\/a>: now on the same concept and at the same schedule (from 7:50 to 10:10 am), every last Thursday of every month.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>
