Based on the original watch that went up with the first man, Hermann Buhl, who climbed yet another eight- thousand, Nanga Parbat, 8,126 m (26,660 ft) in 1953.
What makes the Hercules Watch genuinely remarkable is its fusion of Alpinism and exquisite craftsmanship. Engraved in the bridges of the watch are height lines inspired by the Nanga Parbat, reminiscent of ancient maps. These lines are filled with BGW9 SuperLuminova, illuminating a captivating bright blue at night, paying homage to the permafrost atop the Himalayas.
Ryan Waters is globally recognized as one of the world’s premier mountaineers, boasting an impressive resume that includes over 50 successful ascents of the Seven Summits. With a background encompassing 25 expeditions to the Himalayas, including six personal summits of Mt. Everest, Waters has led groups to the summit via both the Tibet and Nepal routes. His remarkable expeditions also extend to Cho Oyu, Lhotse, Manaslu, Dhaulagiri, and the 7,200-meter Pumo Ri in Nepal.
The Hercules Watch, accompanied by Ryan Waters on his incredible journey to conquer Mount Everest, symbolizes the fusion of exceptional timekeeping and a relentless spirit of adventure. It serves as a testament to the strength, resilience, and unwavering dedication demonstrated by both the timepiece and its wearer.
