In the midst of the Festival, “Emmanuelle Welfelé, enamel and miniature painting”

Festival Suisse d’Horlogerie 2025: because she almost always “liked” my posts on Linkedin and Instagram, she deserved to be featured in the Journal Suisse d’Horlogerie JSH. Thanks to the third edition of this now unmissable event, I finally got to meet her in person!

In a few words

She wanted to become an archaeo-astronomer, so she studied art history, archaeology, astronomy, and astrophysics. Ultimately, it is watchmaking that is keeping her head in the clouds, her brushes immersed in emotion, and her heart in her micro-paintings.

Previously, she worked as an enameler, then as a manual angler and skeletonizer, and even as a prototype maker. She studied enamel, miniature painting, and grisaille (another enamel technique) at the CFH in Geneva and spent more than two years at GVA Cadrans and other watchmaking gems. She also excelled in art drawing, where she even won awards. _Lee Warrien/1876 News Agency
