Finesse In The Service of Performance

At just 2.60 mm thick without date function (3.00 mm with date) and with a 65-hour power reserve, the SEED VMF 5500 family stands as one of the thinnest industrialised calibres on the market. Its variable-inertia balance wheel with gold inertia blocks and 3 Hz frequency ensure stable, reliable timekeeping. The movement is 100% lead-free.

Reliability That Makes The Difference

Certified for 10 years. Warranted for 8. At Vaucher Manufacture Fleurier, reliability is measured, not promised. The SEED VMF 5500 undergoes a rigorous testing protocol for its 10-year qualification and certification, and is subject to demanding quality controls throughout the entire manufacturing process. For brands, it is the assurance of building on a proven movement, designed to last.

Fully Customisable

Every calibre can become your own. Dial-side and bridge-side finishes are entirely customisable to the highest standards of Haute Horlogerie: Côtes de Genève, diamond-polished bevelling, circular graining, perlage, two-tone laser engraving. Ideal for skeletonisation, available in titanium, and compatible with additional complications (moon phase, perpetual calendar). Every detail can be reimagined so the movement tells your story.

Accessible from 25 Pieces

Available from as few as 25 pieces, the SEED VMF 5500 is designed for major maisons and independent brands alike. An exceptional foundation for every horological ambition.
