{June 30, 2008} Bruno Jufer is the Executive Vice President of Bucherer Montres SA, aka Carl F. Bucherer (the brand name), after having worked for Desco and Maurice Lacroix. He participated in the launch at Baselworld of a new revolutionary movement (with peripheral rotor), the CFB A1000. No one was expecting the brand to do this, as it was the first time it had a true Manufacture caliber. In order to optimize the bearing of this rotor, Carl F. Bucherer used the patent of MPS (Micro Precision Systems AG), concerning the ceramic balls. The international CEO is Thomas Morf, a real showman if we judge his performance at the Basel premiere. He was on stage as if he were a fish in water.
