Swiss Haute Horlogerie manufacturer Audemars Piguet officially inaugurated its first AP House in Switzerland on September 15 in the prestigious setting of Zurich’s Leuenhof. This iconic cultural landmark, dear to local inhabitants, welcomed the brand’s guests for a unique experiential event.

A Unique experience in tribute to the City of Zurich
Guests were welcomed at the heart of the Leuenhof’s old cashier hall, where the first AP House in Switzerland – and one of the largest in the world with its surface of 700 square metres – has been located since February 2022. The live performance of Zurich-based composer and producer OZ, who created a dedicated soundtrack for the AP House, counted amongst the highlights of the evening. The music artist was accompanied for the occasion by Afro Pop singer songwriter TRESOR who lent his lyrics and voice to OZ’s music. This unprecedented collaboration reinforces the synergies between Audemars Piguet and the music world, while paying a vibrant tribute to the city of Zurich.
After the welcome speech of David Pantillon, Audemars Piguet’s Country General Manager Switzerland, guests were surprised with a show, whose beauty and complexity echoed the unique architecture of this local landmark.
The night concluded with the live presentation of “Showstopper,” the bespoke soundtrack created by Zurich-based composer and producer OZ for the Zurich AP House. The self-taught artist was accompanied by Congolese Afro-pop singer Tresor,who lent his lyrics and voice to OZ’s music. The duo made the night with this collaborative piece – a first for Audemars Piguet, whose family values, strong sense of rootedness in Switzerland and openness to the world echo the way OZ considers both his collaborations and his artistic work.
“Showstopper” will be available on 23 September on both artists various channels, including Spotify, Deezer and Apple Music.
