The magic of lush pictures, a fairy tale of a secret monster caressing the sides of a matching bottle and watch, this new venture is born of a passion for watchmaking and spirits. It embodies Hakim El Kadiri’s commitment to quality and innovation.

From the name of a forgotten lake

Carte postale du Loch Lat, également appelé le "lac de Saint-Blaise"

Loch Lat is the culmination of a three-year journey that began with a fortuitous inspiration: a Belgian friend who offered him a good whisky. Hakim El Kadiri was immediately attracted by the unique character of this spirit, and set about creating a Neuchâtel equivalent. Working in partnership with an experienced oenologist, he carefully selects the best malt mash and supervises the distillation process. The spirit is then aged in cognac barrels, giving it a rich, complex aromatic profile.

To celebrate the region’s historical heritage, the creator named his whisky Loch Lãt after a nearby lake in Saint-Blaise, and chose the emblematic Saint-Blaise wheel (Musée Laténium) as his logo. This antique artifact, discovered in the area, symbolizes the region’s rich patrimony.

Elka x Elka, the original auto-collab

In a tribute to his watchmaking expertise and Elka’s history dating back to 1877, Hakim El Kadiri has created his own collab: a limited edition of 25 watches, each associated with a unique bottle of Loch Lãt. This S series watch features a distinctive amber dial, warm, scorching and heady. It is powered by a high-quality La Joux Perret G100 caliber.

Due to the intricacies of exporting alcohol, this exclusive package combining watch and whisky is only available in Switzerland. Only the watch can be sent out of Switzerland…
