Temps de lecture : 3 minutes

At Henri Grandjean & Cie, creation has never been about choosing between heritage and innovation. It has always been about allowing one to enrich the other.

Guided by more than two centuries of watchmaking history, the Maison perpetuates a living legacy through contemporary expressions where technical ingenuity, artistic vision and exceptional craftsmanship come together in the pursuit of emotion.

On the occasion of Geneva Watch Days 2026, Henri Grandjean & Cie unveils the Magician Atrivm Green and the Magician Atrivm Red, two new interpretations that further enrich the Atrivm collection. Following the debut of the Magician Atrivm Blue and the Magician Atrivm Translucent at Watches and Wonders Geneva earlier this year, these two new interpretations further expand the Maison’s exploration of sapphire as an architectural language, where light itself becomes an essential component of the watchmaking experience.

For the first time, the Atrivm collection brings Grand Feu enamel – one of Haute Horlogerie’s oldest and most demanding artistic crafts -, contemporary sapphire architecture and a Swiss hand-finished manufacture movement, marking a world premiere. More than a technical or creative achievement, this deliberate union reflects Henri Grandjean & Cie’s enduring conviction that heritage is not preserved through nostalgia – it is continually reimagined for tomorrow, offering a new interpretation of contemporary Haute Horlogerie.

Within this transparent architecture, Grand Feu enamel introduces an entirely new dimension. Its warmth, depth and timeless character enrich the purity of sapphire, allowing this centuries-old métier d’art to converse naturally with one of its most contemporary architectural expressions. The introduction of enamel reflects the Maison’s profound reverence for the artistic crafts that have long defined the highest expressions of Haute Horlogerie – a reverence expressed through an uncompromising pursuit of craftsmanship, where every detail, whether visible or invisible, deserves the same level of care.

With the Magician Atrivm Green, Henri Grandjean & Cie draws inspiration from one of architecture’s most enduring symbols of refinement: the deep green marble that has adorned palaces, distinguished residences and historic libraries for centuries. Reimagined through sapphire and enriched by enamel, this timeless architectural language reveals remarkable depth, richness and warmth, creating an atmosphere where refinement is expressed not through excess, but through perfect balance.

The Magician Atrivm Red explores a different architectural language. Inspired by the rich crimson tones of grand theatres, ceremonial halls and the reception rooms of history’s grand palaces, it celebrates spaces where craftsmanship, architecture and light combined to create moments of spectacle and emotion. Here again, enamel introduces a timeless artistic presence into Atrivm’s contemporary sapphire construction, creating a harmonious dialogue between centuries of savoir-faire and a distinctly modern vision of Haute Horlogerie.

Together with The Magician Atrivm Blue and The Magician Atrivm Translucent, introduced earlier this year, these latest creations complete a collection of four distinct architectural expressions. Each reference draws inspiration from a different artistic and architectural heritage, yet all are united by the same conviction: that the future of Haute Horlogerie is shaped not by breaking with history, but by allowing it to continue evolving.

This philosophy reflects the broader vision of Henri Grandjean & Cie. Since 1792, the Grandjean name has been synonymous with technical ingenuity, artistic excellence and an unwavering pursuit of perfection. Today, the Maison does not simply draw inspiration from its history – it carries its spirit into the future, allowing each new creation to become another chapter in a story that has been unfolding for more than two centuries.

Centuries of craftsmanship. Contemporary sapphire architecture. One enduring vision. “Legacy Of Tomorrow”
