Rubel & Ménasché keeps on surprising. The only Parisian diamond manufacturer to have raised its expertise to levels of industrial technicality, in addition to supplying the great Houses of Place Vendôme with gems of perfect quality, it was awarded the Entreprises du Patrimoine Vivant (EPV) label in 2013. This is a fitting culmination of some fifteen years of research and constant questioning to ensure that its processes and undeniable expertise are in line with industrial constraints. On June 28, 2013, Rubel & Ménasché was awarded a distinction by the French government, a label that is a recognition of its know-how. Particularly within its recutting workshop, founded in 2005. In addition to the excellence of its “golden hands” (in 2013 out of its 5 cutters, one had been elected Meilleur Ouvrier de France), use state-of-the-art tools. Audrey Legal, head of the Certified Fancy Retaille department, explains: “We work on plan, using a profile projector and an Avalon. We cut our stones to perfection before checking their polish; we make ‘serial’ baguette diamonds, totally identical, which set the dials of the most beautiful watches marvelously: length, thickness, depth, everything is controlled. In tune with technological advances, our methods serve an ancestral profession.”
