The famous exhibitors’ reception at the high-precision fair has welcomed the most highly-rated singer among the prestigious brands. Azania is finally entering the “heart of the watchmaking profession”, on supplier’s universe stage!

She’s everywhere, in Geneva and around the world, thanks to her musical podcasts that transcend the web and the private parties that introduce her to top international circles. Her soul, jazz and gospel vocal are equally at ease on the disco, funk and even classical sidelines.

Azania has become a ‘muse’ phenomenon, having made over 800 appearances and performed in front of four presidents. She can surprise audiences with her seventies-style stage presence on the Jardin Anglais or Broadway, surrounded by a punchy band with backing female vocals, or on the very ‘hype’ stage of a prestigious brand party, where she can steal the show from the ‘gueststarised’ Gwyneth Paltrow. Her career, full of highlights such as a starring performance on French TV channel M6 and a legitimate appearance at the Montreux Jazz Festival, continues to go from strength to strength. Her voice, humble and powerful, laden with the wounds of a people from whom her roots lie, is as capable of teasing out the ‘untouchability’ of immortal standards.

She is also a vocal coach and a committed ambassador for the Sierra Leone charity “All As One Children’s Center“, as well as being a songwriter. Unfortunately, not all of the 800 exhibitors and 20,000 visitors expected at Palexpo was able to crowd around the stage! Luckily, those who hasn’t be able to make it can still catch up on the musical tidbits on her official website, or look out for one of her forthcoming performances.
