Better known by his diminutive nickname PPDC, Philippe Perret du Cray, General Secretary of the JSH, Archives & Patrimoine association, fell into the watchmaking pot even before the 3rd millennium: watchmaking passion, in all its forms. Pillar of the relaunch of the Swiss watchmaking journal JSH.

PPDC advocates performance that he helps to boost, opportunities to seize and commercial coups de coeur. With conviction and determination, he brings his invaluable skills to JSH® Magazine, in his capacity as General Secretary of the JSH Archives and Heritage Association. He is notably the inventor of the Hashtag #JamaissansmonJSH which brings together portraits of watchmaking personalities surprised while reading JSH.

A key figure in the development of the watchmaking magazines “Heure International”, then “Heure Suisse” and “Heure Schweiz”, he was already championing the “Heure Technique” supplement, designed to showcase co-contractors exhibiting at the EPHJ watch show. He then helped launch a French-language version of Revolution magazine and, for over 12 years, contributed to the commercial development of the WorldTempus.com website.

This indefatigable watchmaking enthusiast has an uncommonly high level of sympathy with communication and marketing managers and advertising investment decision-makers. But also with industry decision-makers, since in spring 2023 he took over the sales and marketing management of Badeco, the famous Geneva-based manufacturer of tools for watchmaking and jewelry.

But if you ask him what he’s most proud of in all this, he’ll answer without hesitation “being Amandine’s dad” aka “watch_it_with_amandine” on Instagram.
