With the approval of enthusiastic organizers, the support of a committed partner and JSH magazine (since 1876), the crowd beckons! While more than a hundred brands will turn Geneva into the world capital of watchmaking, here are nine additional figures in the watchmaking news. Among them, a renowned master watchmaker, Dominique Renaud (ex Renaud & Papi), surrounded by a breath of freshness, inventiveness and promises for the future…

Dominique Renaud: “It’s really interesting to come and discover this generation of young talented watchmakers who are contributing, beyond trends, to the renewal and future of watchmaking…”

Focus on ‘Time to The Future by Mestel’ events

All week long, the exhibitors of this new space “Time to the Future by Mestel” will be visited and endorsed by key figures of the watchmaking world. No doubt the media, always keen on discoveries, will also add to the buzz. Especially since on March 31, 2022 at 2:00 pm, the main sponsor Mestel and its general manager Christian Tissieres, will include in the ‘Time to Talk’ program a round table entitled “Creation + Innovation = Passion“.

Time to Watches, a newcomer on the Geneva watch fair scene, in partnership with the HEAD, is offering 38 brands - as many as the Watches and Wonders - over 4 days, all of them independent, including 9 promising young watchmaking companies grouped in the Time To The Future by Mestel space

As for April 2nd, 2022, at 5:00 pm, Baudoin Van Es of Tourbillon Watch will host, live from Time to Talk and live on Instagram, a presentation of the young watchmaking start-ups present. Finally, at 6:30 p.m. on the same April 2nd, 2022, Watch Around’s co-editor Stéphane Gachet will host a responsive conference with the participation of Raymond Loretan (GPHG), Manuel Emch (Louis Erard), Serge Maillard (The Watch Library), Dominique Renaud, Thomas Baillod (BA111OD) and Olivier Mory (Skill) on the theme of the future of Swiss watchmaking.

Time to Watches, the must-attend event

With some forty confirmed exhibiting brands, the ‘Time to Watches’ happening, which benefits from a unique partnership with the HEAD (Geneva University of Art and Design), is keeping its promises. For four days, from March 31 to April 3, 2022, it will focus the attention of professionals and the media in a new location, just a stone’s throw from Palexpo, which is home to a concentration of other independent watchmaking players. The first edition of Time to Watches, on the second step of the podium, clearly stands out from the surrounding series of events.
